What we do

Hope for life association is a Non-government organization registered with the Government of Rwanda, under the Non-Governmental Organizations registration statute. The organization was founded mainly to focus on Rural Community people development in various aspects for self development especially for children and women.

Young Mothers.

We support young mothers who have been abandoned by their families by providing them with educational opportunities to acquire skills that can enable them to provide for themselves and their children. Through vocational training and mentorship programs, we empower them to learn marketable skills, such as entrepreneurship, crafts, or vocational trades. By equipping them with knowledge and resources, we aim to enhance their self-sufficiency, boost their confidence, and create a brighter future for both them and their children.

Reduction of poverty

Our program focuses on giving low-income families domestic animals including cows, goats, and bunnies. By doing this, we help them produce income and food, which lessens conflict brought on by a lack. This strategy also prevents kids from leaving their homes as a result of problems brought on by poverty. In addition, by easing financial pressure, we hope to avoid teenage pregnancies, which frequently result from financial difficulties. In order to promote stability and wellbeing in these communities, it is our intention to develop long-term solutions that tackle the underlying problems that lead to vulnerability.

Health

Through testing, education, and the promotion of safe sexual behavior, we actively prevent HIV. Teaching family planning techniques is part of our broad strategy for enabling people to make educated decisions regarding contraception. We also provide annual health insurance to guarantee access to healthcare services and to offer financial security. Our mission is to advance healthcare access and general well-being.Health is crucial in a community as it impacts individuals' overall quality of life and social well-being. A healthy community fosters productivity, resilience, and social cohesion. It reduces healthcare burdens, promotes economic development, and enables individuals to thrive. Prioritizing community health leads to a happier, more prosperous society.

Education

By adjusting our strategy to their unique needs, we place a higher priority on education for street children and women especially teenage moms. Through focused programs, we offer open and interesting learning possibilities, equipping people with information and abilities for both personal and professional growth. We work to establish a nurturing environment that ensures their overall growth and success by addressing their vulnerabilities.

Child protection

Our organization is committed to rescuing and supporting street children, who face vulnerability and adversity. We provide them with essential assistance to reintegrate into society, including access to education and schooling. Moreover, we diligently work towards reuniting them with their families whenever feasible, facilitating reconciliation processes. Our mission is driven by the aim to guarantee the safety and well-being of these children, empowering them through education and offering them opportunities for a brighter future within a nurturing family environment. By addressing their immediate needs and investing in their long-term development, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and provide hope for a better tomorrow.
